Today I worked at the library shelving children’s books for 2.5 hours. It’s summer time! Last week it took me less than an hour to shelve everything (it was the last week of school). I ran across two books that looked interesting: Jane, the Fox & Me and Rump. Maybe I’ll stop galavanting around enough to actually read them!
When I got home, I ate something and then went out for a walk/run. I don’t know how far I went, how much I ran versus walked, or how long I was out there. It felt good and I think I’m making progress on figuring out a plan for run.
I ran up Congress Road hill and stopped just after Bird Rock Road. I used to be able to make it all the way up, which is about another 0.5 mile! I stretched before going to yoga because my body felt pretty tight after that.
Yoga class was great again! It was the other teacher/owner for this class. Their styles are a little different and I like that there are two of them. My body feels pretty tight and my muscles will be screaming at me tomorrow, I’m sure. I do love this feeling. It’s a good ache.
There are no beginner classes Friday-Sunday, so I’ll have to look elsewhere for torturing my muscles.
I’ll close this post with Henry (aka Hank), who loves to lay in my lap even though he doesn’t fit.
