I missed my blog post last night. I picked Shane up from the airport and got home late.
I went to yoga in the morning. I love this studio I’m going to, Monterey Yoga. They teach Ashtanga yoga, which is the same as the book and DVD I’ve been doing (very inconsistently) since January. I really like it because it’s the same flows. The better I get at doing the sequences, the more I can concentrate on my breathing. I really dislike things like Zumba where it’s different music and different moves every time. I don’t have the kind of brain that can keep up with it.
I also made the most amazing juice! Well, it wasn’t the tastiest juice I’ve ever had, but it was very drinkable and so beautiful. I was curious about how much this is costing me so I took notes:
|2 (10 oz.)||carrot||$0.62|
|2 (8 oz.)||apples||$1.00|
|Total 18 oz.||$3.00|
I think $3.00 is pretty good. Not spectacularly cheap, but I don’t know anywhere I can go for a carrot, apple, lemon, cucumber and beetroot juice!
This machine does leave quite a bit of pulp since it’s a centrifugal juicer, not a masticating juicer. But I saved this and might try to bake something with it.
