More chalk art today! I’m really loving that they are redecorating our fences with color!
The girls camping in the yard with the sleeping bag Granny sewed for Ana’s 4th birthday. It’s so cute! The bunny lady even has two pockets on her dress. And I like how she used the butterfly fabric for the background so it looks like butterflies are flying all around her.
If you think Ana looks uncomfortable it’s because she’s using a rock for a pillow.
Yesterday I ran my first of three runs this week. The plan is two days of two easy miles and then for the third day I do two easy miles and then keep going, up to three miles.
I’m not exactly sure about the difference between an “easy” run and “hard” run. I don’t think I’ve ever run “hard” in my life.
It’s impossible to avoid hills around my house. I usually run down 154 ft. elevation and then back up. But this time to make it easier on myself, I ran down about a quarter of the way and then did a smaller loop. So I would get a small rest after doing a short stint uphill. I liked that much better.
I thought my overall time was pretty disappointing. And then I had to scold myself. A few weeks ago I didn’t think I’d be able to go 20 minutes without stopping. I wouldn’t say this run was “easy” but I definitely could have pushed myself a few minutes more.
My right foot is bothering me. Not quite sure if it’s an “ache” or a “hurt”. My coach has me icing it post-run and heating pre-run. I feel like a real runner now! I’m “icing” and “heating” and doing “easy” runs!
Actually I have no idea what I’m doing. I just follow directions.
