I’ve gotten all of the business set-up stuff done! I ran into some issues, but it’s all fixed now and I am so glad that I didn’t wait until after Charlotte is born to do it. It was hard enough dragging Ana around.
I’ve also taken care of most of the supplies, like shipping envelopes and thank you stickers.
I’ve decided to hold off on ordering more tags to sew into the products. Mainly because I’m still trying to figure out my niche.
But, I’m getting closer to finding my focus and I’m super excited about it!
I had mentioned earlier that I was thinking about selling fabric. Not only to lower the cost of my expenses and in turn my products, but also because the income will help sustain the production side. But, I’ve since decided that I’m going to only sell organic cotton fabrics. I’ll be opening up a separate Etsy shop under the name Oh! Olive Organics.
I love the name and I love the fact that I came up with it at 5:30 am this morning when I couldn’t go back to sleep. Charlotte is inspiring me in her own special way 🙂
I’ve also found an organic baby clothing manufacturer and contacted them about wholesaling. Eventually, I’d like to go 100% organic. But, I won’t be able to do that until there are more organic fabric manufacturers.
Here’s another organic fabric I’m loving…
