I continue to be surprised at how much trouble I am having with this little doll. I admit I didn’t pay close enough attention to the instructions when I attached the body. And I did attach the arms first even though the instructions direct to attach the legs first.
BUT! I did follow the directions concerning the arms quite carefully. Yet I struggled and Kiki’s arms stuck straight out when I was done.
My Kiki’s arms did not lay like the original Kiki’s arms slightly hanging and slightly forward (like a zombie a friend commented). But yes, like a zombie. So I fiddled and sewed and pulled and I surrendered when her arms got to looking like this…
Not perfect, but good enough to leave alone and move on (have I said this before?).
And I suppose what really matters is that Kiki has some functional arms. Arms, for with which to swing on trees.
