I ran across one of those sentence-a-day journals in Barnes & Noble today and it gave me a thought that I could, at the very least, do that. Maybe it would help me create a habit of blogging. Just one sentence a day.
If I had done this yesterday, my sentence would have gone something like this:
Woke up at 3:00 am; dropped Shane and the kids off at the airport; created a children’s book catalog with the Library Thing app; walked/ran Stairway to Heaven three times; took Mom to the ER for a liver ultrasound; she was admitted so I went home (after being there 4.5 hours, plus 3 hours driving); listened to the Better Than Before audiobook on the drive home (love this book!); ate dinner on the coach and watched some of The Illussionist; went to bed and slept 11 hours.
How’s that for “one” sentence?
I wore my new Momentum bracelet today. I adore it.
Headed up to Sacramento to pick up the last of Mom’s things. Listening to the Better Than Before audiobook is giving me so many good ideas! I have one big and amazing idea that I’m excited about. I will make it happen! (Positive thinking works, right?)
I stopped at the Barnes & Noble in Antioch, which is out of the way but it’s supposedly the only store that has the Better Than Before Day-to-Day Journal, which I was thinking about buying but I wanted to see in person first. Turns out they don’t have the book. But I still managed to spend over an hour there.
Getting out of Antioch is almost as difficult as getting out of San Francisco. Not fun, especially if you have no cash in your wallet for the $5 toll bridge you had no idea existed. But at least people in San Francisco are friendly.
