Random kid pics from last week

We’ve been having the most perfect weather here. I filled the kiddie pool up three times. And we spent pretty much every waking moment outside. We’ve been really lucky because this is usually foggy season for us. So here are some pictures from last week:

The kids made a zoo in the front yard. I was really impressed that they came up with this idea on their own. Panda bear…

My foot injury isn’t getting better and I have an appointment on Wednesday with the podiatrist. I’m really anxious about getting it healed and running again.

I had a thought that if I keep getting injured and sick, maybe I’ll give up like I did a few months ago.  So then I bought a new pair of running shoes from REI because they were having a great sale this weekend. Does this make sense to anyone besides me?

I does doesn’t it? Especially with running shoes. I can’t believe how exciting it is to research and shop for running shoes. All the different types and colors!

They do! I was actually stunned that the kids came up with the yard zoo. This is exactly why I think it’s important for kids to be bored. That’s when they seem to come up with the best ideas.

Isn’t it? And they’ve been out there for about a week now and have changed habitats several times. I think the animals are all getting baths soon.
