The only gardening I did last year after we moved in was to plop these babies into the ground.
I also planted some basil, but that didn’t survive. Which is unfortunate since I use fresh basil much more than rosemary or parsley. Or maybe it’s just not that hardy and I can expect to plant it every year. Unfortunately, I did not inherit my grandma’s green thumb. So, I have no idea what I’m talking about.
My mom planted some hyacinth bulbs with Caleb a few weeks ago. It’s such a happy thing to see flowers pop out of the ground. I’m really looking forward to having some time to garden in the coming years.
On a whim, I bought a tomato and lettuce plant at the grocery store.
This is supposed to be a red zebra tomato, but we’ll see.
And how fantastic would that be to go outside and pick a fresh salad?! I’m sure I’ll have to get about 10 more plants though.
And my little Miss Georgiana…
