C: Mommy? How about you’re in charge tomorrow and the next day and then I’m in charge the day after that?
M: How about in 20 years, when you have your own kid, you can be in charge everyday?
C: Oh yeah!! And then you’ll be dead.
M: I hope not! You’ll need our help. Like we need Granny’s help.
C: But Granny doesn’t help so much. Because she brings us toys every time and gives me treats. And remember when you said “No treats!” and Granny gives them to me anyway?
M: Well, yeah, but that’s what Granny’s are for. She’s doing a perfect job. And I can’t wait to do the exact same thing to your kids.
