Every Wednesday I’ll show you the progress I’ve made on a UFO (UnFinished Object) that I have worked on for the past week. I’ll also introduce a new UFO to work on for the coming week.
The past week: Waldorf doll
The next week: Riley Blake February mystery block
Last Wednesday, I showed you how this poor baldy really needs some attention. I was really thinking I could find the time to finish her. But I was lazy. I managed to only attach her arm.
Of course, this took longer than it should have because I decided that I didn’t want them stiff and sticking straight out to the side. I’m realizing that I prefer arms that lay down and are easier to move. This meant that I had to take out the stitching from the one attached arm. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but…
I saw this on Pinterest today and I’m going to attach the arms like this on my next doll.
What’s left with this doll is the belly button and the hair. And I’m seriously considering putting a band around that wrinkly neck. Apparently it’s cold “ghost neck”.
The new UFO for the week is the Riley Blake February Mystery Block. I finished January and really loved how it turned out. They’ve already got the March block out, so I better get moving!
Would you like to join me for Work on It Wednesdays? I’d love to see the progress you’re making on your UFOs! Link up here. Please make sure to use the url for the post not your home page.
