I got woken up yesterday morning with “can we go find more geocaches??!!” So we went out to the coast just past Asilomar. The kids played in the sand for a little bit first.
There is a geocache out on that island but we’ll have to wait until low tide to get it.
Caleb found our first geocache…
We snagged one of these pathtags. At first I thought it was one of those traveling geocoins, but apparently you’re supposed to keep and collect these. Cool!
I actually found this one! We’re not very stealthy when on the search. Need to work on that.
Eliza was very good about taking notes…
Since it was forecasted to be the warmest day this week at 79 degrees, we spent a few hours at Lover’s Point. This is how I spent my two hours. Lounging on my blanket, reading a book and napping. LOLOLOL! I’m so fuh-ney! Actually I spent two hours staring at my children making sure they didn’t get swept away in the current as the tide went out.
Not sure if you can see the smoke in the background. There is another big fire. 600 acres as of this (Wednesday) morning. I can’t wait for the winter rain that’s coming.
Ta-daaaaa! She is so goofy! I was just thinking about how different my girls are. Ana is the sweet and athletic girl. Charlotte is the creative and dramatic girl. And Eliza is the spunky girl who loves to take care of people. Even though they drive me crazy and I’m always exhausted, it’s so fun to see them grow up into such different little characters.
I ran again! It wasn’t as easy as two miles used to be. Here’s to hoping I keep it up.
I am so excited that I finally got to pick up my Zaycon order!! Twenty-five pounds of wild-caught salmon and 36 pounds of bacon. I already took two packs out for dinner tomorrow. I’m a little disappointed the bacon came frozen in 3-pound packs. I never use that much at one time.
And we ended the night with Back to the Future III and cuddles with Aiphy…
