I’m getting bored of talking about my struggle to eat properly, so I’ll just skip to the part where I show you this yummy sandwich I ate at an undisclosed time of day. Avocado, bacon, and lettuce/spinach on sprouted wheat sourdough.
I walked Charlotte home from school again. I’m going to try to do this a few times every week. I made her pose on our walk home from school. She was making some goofy smiles so I told her “think about ice cream.” So this is charlotte, sitting on a log in the middle of a forest, thinking about ice cream.
On the way home, I pointed out some snail shells on the side of the road in our neighborhood. Charlotte wanted to take them home, but I pointed out that they were dead. She was disappointed. I remarked, “I’m surprised we don’t have snails in our yard.” And she sighed, “Yeah, we’re not lucky.”
I’d question why they like snails so much, but I remember liking them myself when I was a kid. Our school had a snail race one year and I took it very seriously.
Here’s a picture of Ana and Charlotte, from April last year, in my mom’s yard. Ana has two snails on her wrist and Charlotte is holding one.
I also went to another Apple class today. This one was Sketch, Draw, and Paint with iPad. We mostly went over the features in ProCreate. It was so helpful and inspiring! I signed up for another session already.
Caleb found this oak worm pupa while climbing a tree in the backyard. I don’t know what kind it is exactly, but now I want to go to the natural history museum and find out.
My FitBit stats are still going strong this week! Yay me!
